MAINLY FOR INTEREST, BUT WE DO STILL HAVE A VERY FEW GURU-RELATED ITEMS OF MEMORABILIA REMAINING, WHICH WE WILL OFFER FOR SALE IN THIS COLLECTION UNTIL THESE LIMITED STOCKS RUN OUT.
As you probably know, Guru Boutique is now closed for business, but we'll always try to be here for you, lovely lot, as friends.
Keep checking back in case we have any news updates from Guru HQ or unearth more memorabilia that might make a nice keepsake of our beloved Guru Boutique and/or of Darlington.
We still have a few copies of our latest book about our Guru adventure, plus some T-shirts and other bits and bobs left.
The title of the book is '52 Years in Pictures and Words', and it covers as much as possible about our 52 precious years spent running Guru Boutique.
The T-shirt features our Guru logo, redesigned by blues musician Dave Arcari.
We also have a few reduced copies (it is now just £5) of That Darlington) Way our book about our historic High Row, left. There are some lovely nostalgic contributions in this book, thanks to the stories, recollections, and images shared with us by kind friends.
It also reflects our opinion that, although pedestrianisation was necessary, its difficult, damagingly long-lasting, and costly execution period and character-changing results were not.
