Chilly Billy Winters: The Boy Who Wouldn’t Wrap Up Warm – Book six in the Monstrous Morals series of Children’s books. These are lovely books for children, written by Peter Barron (who is a devoted dad himself) and illustrated by Paul Wick. Peter Barron was the editor of Darlington’s Northern Echo for many years and has recently moved on from that post to pursue a new career in media, radio and I suspect his greatest love of all, writing books for children to read. He has been fortunate to team up with artist Paul Wick who seems to know exactly how Peter’s characters should be portrayed. Watch out for more publications from Mr Barron as they have great appeal for children of all ages. This particular book is probably aimed at little people of primary school age. Check out for the other books in this excellent series. They can be seen on this website and include: Fartin’ Martin Sidebottom, Fidgety Bridget Wigglesworth, Black Toothed Ruth Black, Nose Picking Nigel, Daydreaming Daisy McCloud and Chilly Billy Winters… More on the way!
