Ganesh Figurine

Ganesh figurine.  This lovely figurine of a seated Ganesh is in an ivory finish and is 6 inches/15.24 cm high. Ganesh is the elephant God of wisdom, and the legend goes that he was once a beautiful young man until a jealous God (his father) cut his head off in spite. The other Gods were angry about this and decided to atone for this act by giving him the head of an elephant and, with it, great wisdom.
