Female ethnic, alternative, festival clothing and accessories will appeal to people who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd, and who wish to express their own individuality.
Ethnic style consists of loose, colourful clothing (very often of exotic or foreign origin), and has been known under the descriptions of boho chic and/or hippie style This kind of dress is usually associated with those with artistic leanings. With their long flowing hair and rich, even if sometimes threadbare fabrics, bohemians stand out in a crowd representing a colourful counterculture based on creativity, poverty, and an indifference to social structures and traditions.
Bohemian style has, for over 200 years, been an exotic alternative to the accepted fashions of a given period. Generally associated with artists, writers, and intellectuals, bohemian culture incorporates Gypsy, and various ethnic clothing styles, as well as historical costume.
The term alternative clothing could cover anything from gothic to punk (and many other interesting looks too), but often just means the ability to find and be comfortable in your own style.
